Avoid going out on the 29th and 30th, the Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rains

The state is likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains on August 29 and 30, according to the meteorological department. Heavy rains are expected in North, Central and South Gujarat on August 29. Heavy rains are forecast in Saurashtra-Kutch on August 30. Coastal areas of the state may receive heavy rains along with winds.

Meteorological Department Forecast
Megharaja has taken a break in Gujarat at present. Scattered rains are falling in some parts of the state. The meteorological department has again forecast heavy to very heavy rains on August 29 and 30. Wellmark low pressure, due to cyclonic circulation, is forecast to rain again in the state.

The meteorological department has forecast three more days of heavy rains in Gujarat. It may be mentioned that heavy rains are forecast in South Gujarat and North Gujarat for three out of the next five days. According to the state meteorological department, heavy rains are expected in Surat, Navsari, Valsad on Saturday, Anand, Surendranagar, Bhavnagar, Botad, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Porbandar, Dwarka and Kutch on Sunday. On the other hand, Rajkot, Junagadh, Porbandar, Morbi, Dwarka, Banaskantha, Anand and Kutch are likely to receive heavy rains on Monday.

Three out of five days of heavy rain forecast
It may be mentioned that heavy and drizzle rain has fallen in various districts of the state in the last several days. New water has come in the gorges of Gujarat including reservoirs, dams, river channels due to heavy rains. About 95 per cent of the dams in the state are inundated. Currently Megharaja has stopped.

The world is worried about heavy rains
On the other hand, heavy rains lashed the rural areas of Jafrabad in the state. Rainy weather was created at Hemal Dughala, Jikadari, Facharia and Lorma in Jafrabad. It is to be mentioned that the road leading to Hemal village was flooded and the world has become worried due to the rainstorm.
