State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest state-owned bank, has alerted its customers. SBI has asked its account holders to update their PAN information. “Update your PAN details with the bank to enjoy normal international transactions through SBI debit card,” the bank tweeted. Otherwise SBI customer will not be able to make international transaction at ATM, POS / e-commerce.

Update your page details in the bank records to enjoy international transactions without any hassle through SBI Debit Card. You can link your PAN from your SBI account online or by visiting the nearest branch.
How to link your PAN with your SBI account online?
To link PAN to your account, first log in to SBI Internet Banking.
Click on the ‘e-services’ tab.
Select PAN registration.
Here you will be redirected to the PAN registration page. Where you will have to enter your profile password.
Select the transaction account and fill in and submit your PAN information.
After you submit, an OTP will be generated which will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Now enter the OTP and submit your request.
Your request to link your PAN with SBI Bank account will be forwarded to your bank branch.
Once your PAN is linked to your account, the bank will send you an SMS to confirm it.
How can you link your PAN with SBI account by visiting branch?
To link your PAN with your SBI bank account you have to go to the bank branch with a photocopy of PAN card.
Fill in the application form available at the bank branch and submit it along with a copy of your PAN card.
Also bring the original copy of PAN card as the bank officer may ask you to verify it.
After verification by the bank, you will receive an SMS from the bank on the mobile number registered about it.
